Your plan starts
in your browser.

This notice explains how Seating Studio handles information when you use weddingseatingchart.art.

Short version: the editor saves your working plan in your browser. If you start a paid checkout, we also save the current project on our server so the order and one-time recovery link can restore the plan. We do not provide accounts or live collaboration in the current version.

Information you enter

Your project name, guest list, notes, table assignments, visual style, and room layout are stored on the device and browser you use. This information is used to render your plan and exports.

Local browser storage

Clearing browser data, using private browsing, switching browsers, or changing devices can remove a local-only plan. Download an export before closing the browser if you need a durable copy. A paid checkout creates a limited server-side recovery copy tied to the order; its one-time recovery link expires after seven days.

Copy links

When you choose “Copy link,” the link contains a browser-readable copy of the current plan, including guest details. Anyone you send that link to can view that copy. Do not share it publicly or include sensitive guest information unless you are comfortable disclosing it.

Checkout and recovery data

For a paid export, we process the email address you provide, the selected product, the order status, and the project snapshot needed to fulfill and recover that order. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Seating Studio. Recovery tokens are stored only as hashes and are not intended to be reused.

Third-party services

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and the spreadsheet reader from jsDelivr. The homepage may load images from Unsplash. Those providers may process technical information such as IP address or browser details under their own privacy notices.
